9th Street Italian Market Festival
It's that time of year again!
Our friends at Connie's Ric Rac will be presenting the 'Local Flavors' stage at 9th and Annin Street on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday May 18th. There will be lots of great bands and solo acts performing over the course of the weekend. The music will go from about 11 AM to 5 PM each day. You don't want to miss this!

Download all of music for FREE!
Yep, you can have all of our music for free by following the instructions below.
We're making a limited-time special offer to download all of the tracks on our latest EP "Cold Cuts" as well our demo CD and several tracks that were not previously available.
Here's what to do:
Send an email to whistlerock@discountheroes.com saying that you want the link to download our music. You have to agree to have your email address added to our mailing list. Don't worry, we won't spam you. You will just get occasional messages letting you know when we have shows coming up. We will then send you a link and a username/password to download as many of our songs as you like. Not a bad deal, eh?

We're on TV!
If you live in the Philadelphia metro area and have Comcast Cable, you can check out two clips of us performing live at the Lickety Split by doing the following:
Go to On Demand -> Get Local -> scroll down to the second page and select Battle Of The Bands. Our clips are listed as "discountheroes1" and "discountheroes2".
Along with the live performance footage, we do a brief interview. Check out the other acts too. They're all really good.

New music on our MySpace page
We recently found a recording of a show that we played at CB's 313 Gallery in New York City a few years ago. It's an acoustic set and one of our first live performances! The audio quality is very good.
A few songs have been posted to our . More will follow. Give 'em a listen and hear what an old school Discount Heroes show sounded like.

Our new EP is now mastered!
The tracks for our upcoming EP were mastered by Grammy-award winning producer Phil Nicolo at his studio in Coshohocken, PA. Our producers from Sine Studios came and helped make the songs sound as good as they possibly could.
We're very excited (and relieved) to have this step completed. It brings us a lot closer to releasing the CD. Now we just have to get the artwork done and come up with a title. Then we can send everything out to a duplication facility and start pressing. Hopefully we'll have a CD ready in a few weeks from now.
